| Set in the gracious neoclassical splendor of Newcastle architecture, The Living Room opened in 2004, and is a superb one hundred and twenty-cover Newcastle restaurant plus a two hundred and seventy person capacity bar. The Living Room Newcastle is situated on the first floor and lower ground floor of a grade two-listed building on one of the most famous and architecturally superb streets in Newcastle, Grey Street.

The Living Room Newcastle is part of a group of Living Room restaurants and bars, which cover the UK with locations in Birmingham, Bristol, Chester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, and Oxford. The Living Room in each location has an airy piano bar and restaurant, designed in relaxing stylish earthy shades, and aims to bring you high quality without the high prices normally associated with this level of service. We welcome children and are ideally situated for pre theatre dining.

The Living Room Newcastle forms part of Niche Hotel, and serves as the hotels main restaurant, with covers for breakfast, lunch, and dining in the evening.

The 'greystreethotel' is also part of the same stunning listed building, and was previously a bank, grand and spacious in it's proportions, now sympathetically transformed with modern style and technology.
